International Women’s Day: Your Voice Matters

Happy International Women’s Day 2022!

Here are 3 ways I am celebrating International Women’s Day TODAY:

#1- AppSumo is honoring women-owned businesses, and I made the list!

In honor of Women’s Month, the popular website, AppSumo, is honoring women entrepreneurs. My new coaching course, IMPACT: The Essential Public Speaking Coaching Course, has made the list of honors!

#2- My summer vocal program will feature women composers. 

We will feature women composers, including this amazing song above, I AM WOMAN, by Emmy Meli, at my summer vocal & drama program, Oakland Glee, for performers ages 8-11.

Campers will also write their OWN song at our one-week only program to support future women composers. You can learn more about my summer program HERE

#3- I celebrate my amazing studio singers EVERY day.

I love doing what I do. Getting to help guide young women to find their true voices and fully express themselves fills me with so much pride. Since I have 2 sons of my own I often refer to students as my “singer daughters” (Although I get to be more of a “Cool Auntie” a lot of the time 🙂

These studio daughters are outspoken, dramatic, full of emotion, and I ADORE them!

When one of my performer’s gets cast in a musical, we all win. When they get into a performing arts college program, we all win. Even when they finish singing a song at practice and say, “Hey, I sound pretty good”, WE ALL WIN!!
